What is the purpose of the 'Friends' feature'

Seriously...... think about it.    You add other members to your friends list, they add you to their friends list...... then what??

.

What distinguishes 'Friends' from other members, other than being on your friends list?   What's the point?  Perhaps someone from Boonex could explain it to me.

We are finding it a very useful feature, in it shows who is connected to who, allowing new and reconnections with people who have lost connect with, and is good basis for re-inforcing a sense of community.

The only dolphin feature we haven't found a good use for is whiteboard *although we hope this changes if the ability to add jpegs to a whiteboard is implemented (think drawing funny faces, speech bubbles and captions on photos)*

You missed the subtle sarcasm of my post

I just joined your Dolphin site and added a comment to your profile, and there's nothing you can do about it.  I can add more comments, and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

.

Of course, I will not do that, and I will unregister, but perhaps you see my point now.

Why bother start a thread with sarcasm, it's really bad web etiquette and runs against the spirit of Boonex, even worse is joining someone else's community with no intention of being part of the community and knowingly making more work for the adminstrator.

sad,sad...

My sincere apologies for my fucking bad web etiquette.  Since the Dolphin site you have created seems to consist only of members that you yourself added, a total lack of control over who can add comments to any given profile is probably of no concern to you.  Good luck reinforcing that sense of community with yourself.

Excuse me what are you on!!!!  We do not add members ourselves, we have thought of a simple real world mechanism to encourage people to join our community. If you have read our earlier posts (which I'm sure you have) our only regret is that we hadn't discovered Dolphin software earlier otherwise we would have 6,000 subscribers by this point.
Why would you think we add subscribers? We are  too busy out  selling photos of people to themselves.

Yes of no concern as our members are nice people and genuinely know each other.

You just sound frustrated lol

BTW all our subscribers pay us before joining our website in cash and continue to spend with us.

If anyone in a "suitable field" wishes to know how we do it Private Message Us and we'll look at your request.

I'm not on anything, but it really doesn't take any heightened sense of awareness to see that the caption on every single profile photo on your site uses strikingly similar wording.... as if they were all written by the same hand.  You did think to use a bit of variety though, since each profile photo caption starts with either, 'thats us', 'thats me', or 'thats me and my mates'.  Seriously...... what are the odds of that many random users all forgetting to place the apostrophe in the word 'thats' ??????  It is also highly unlikely that, out of all of those "members", not one of them capitalized the first letter of the photo caption.

.

Sorry........ you're busted.   LOL
