Looks like they are both the same type of thing. Just wanted to see who all have come to the same conclusion as I have. If so, did you disable one, which one and why? Just trying to clean up and not have a lot of repetative items on my site. Thanks

Depends on what sort of site and what permissions you want for memberships etc
I tend to just use one over the other...
On profile pages, so far ive mainly used comments over wall, unless the site is profile oriented then wall can be handy. Standard wall i find is limited, comments is cleaner. Although wall does allow an easy way to post media etc over the standard ways... |
There is a difference,
the profile comments are public, the wall is only visible by your friends.
Guest or non-friend-ed members cannot see the wall info.
