Where are a/v chatroom settings stored?

When I log in as admin in chat, and try to change membership settings, I see the same room name listed 3 times in the restricted rooms section, probably from my past editing. Where is this info stored? My admin isn't loading correctly, I think I may have some screwed up info somewhere I need to delete.

Also, I'm trying to allow Visitors to view cams in a/v chat, but I keep getting the prompt : This feature is available only for registered users. Where is the setting to allow visitors to cast video?

Try in Admin Panel > Modules >Flash Apps > Click the + next to A/V Chat and you will see where you can allow visitors to Chat as well as other settings.

Nothing to see here

Chat rooms are stored in "RayChatRooms" accessible through PhpMyAdmin.  Delete duplicates there.

"Cast Video" setting (and all other Chat settings) for individual membership levels is available through Chat Admin.  [Admin Panel>Modules>Flash Apps>A/V Chat>Admin]  For instructions, please check my post in:

Other relevant info is also posted there.

There's nothing under membership settings about visitors VIEWING cams, but logged into admin, you can limit CASTING, but nothing about viewing. I need to find this, but can't. I know my way around dolphin, but this one stupid setting I just can't find.

Your question was unclear.  You wanted visitors to view cams and cast video.  They are different.  Viewing means being able to see any webcams in a chat room.  That is set in Membership Levels>Non-member>Use Chat.  Casting video means being able to launch your own webcam for others to see.  That is set in Chat Admin>Membership Settings.

So, if you set Non-member to Use Chat, they can open the chat room, use the text portion of the chat, and see any webcams in that room.  They will not be able to cast video (launch a webcam) unless you have enabled Cast Audio/VIdeo for Non-member in Chat Admin>Membership Settings.  You can further define Non-member permissions there, like A/V playing in Messenger, enabling large video windows, etc.  Experiment with those settings.

Hope this answers your problem.

That's the problem, my members can enter chat, they can text, they can cast video ( I set that in chat membership settings), but they cannot VIEW cams. I don't see the option to allow visitors to VIEW cams, but I do see the option to CAST videos.

Did you try my suggestion?  You must enable large video window for a webcam to pop up in a separate window.

AS to basic functioning, I am not having the problem you indicate.  My standard membership is set with A/V casting disabled and they can see webcams.  I have just tested it with a test membership and basic settings and I know it works.  There is no separate setting for viewing webcams,  It is included with the membership "Use Chat" permission.

Do your members know how to launch them correctly?  They do not appear automatically.  Members with a live webcam activated will have a video icon next to their name under "Users In Lobby."  For another member to view it they must click on that.  The webcam will appear in a new area under the text area.  A maximum of five can be launched at a time.  That is, if seven members have webcams activated, you can choose five of those.   But if "large video window" has not been enabled, they will not be able to open a selected webcam in a separate window.

If members are doing this and it still doesn't work, I suggest creating a ticket.
