Where are the site templates?

Dolphin looks amazing. But...there's one thing I don't understand: Where are the site templates?  I'm coming from a Joomla background, so I'm used to being able to change the look and feel of my site just by changing templates. I love Joomla, but it doesn't have the strong community orientation that Dolphin does. But how do I change the templates for Dolphin? Where are the templates?

I am new to using Dolphin and all the other Boonex products. I do know that this site does not contain templates or even a clear explanation on how to set up a Dolphin site.....unless I missed it somewhere. The one thing I do know and that is explained when you download products is the the help area, answers to set-up, tech questions and even the templates are are Expertzzz Community Software Support site http://www.expertzzz.com. I hope this will help. I have not had a chance to dig into all the info there, but at first glance it looks like you can find ALL the answers you need or you can ask a question and someone will hopefully have the answer.

templates are in the templates directory. there are a few free ones posted over on FlashDaWeb dreamline seems to be the hottest item going.

i have seen some other free templates but not many, and not worth using.

as cte referenced, you can visit Downloadzzz from Expertzzz where there are quite a few mods and different plugins for this script. Add ons and Modules are located here.

i too am a great fan of joomla, very powerful, and nicely coded and an excellent community site. would be hard pressed to pass off joomla for dolphin, they both have their features.

To change a template, upload the new inside the folder templates and goto your admin panel and set it as default.

By default there is only 1 template provided with dolphin. You can purchase more here

cte, i think you could have been reading too fast. if you downloaded the script, reference to the wiki docs was there for you.  Clear Explanation of how to Install

cte, this has changed and the documents have not been brought current regarding where you should go for technical assistance. boonex has listened to those of us who help others in need, and they have incorporated the blogs and forums extensions, ads, jobs, all in one on this site. and have done a fabulous job. so we no longer need to go across the internet five or six sites to find an answer. this is the place to post your questions, and get your answers.

i hope this has cleared up a few things for you guys, and enjoy you being a part of this community.

Errrmmm, again yet another question unanswered - how to change templates? And the previous answer "go to admin panel and change it" does nothing for me...

My admin panel has no "Templates" option and no where is there any mention of templates in the admin panel that I can find...

Please be more concise with your answers... this would create clearer support and less clutter with questions repeatedly asked due to insufficient / incomplete answers.

If you spent more time familiarizing yourself with the admin panel, and less time complaining about no one holding your hand, by now you would have found the templates option in admin > Settings > Advanced Settings > Templates

Of course to be able to select a template other than the default 'Uni' you must first upload additional template files.  Also, if you put forth a little more effort, you would know by now than a lot of Dolphin mods and templates are distributed on expertzzz.com.  http://www.expertzzz.com/Downloadz/home/dolphin/11
