Where do I locate the whiteboard within the member area?

yoursite.com/administration

tools--modules     install it first & it will show up in the menu :)

The whiteboard has been renamed to "boards," and can be accessed from http://www.yoursite.com/m/board/home/ - or it can be installed from administration, tools, modules - I hope that answers your question.

Edit: twice in a row!

whiteboard/boards require RMS installed :)

Have you also enabled it from the settings window under the Flash Apps panel?

Yes.  All those flash apps say 'enabled'.

They do have an exclamation mark in them...I assume the exclamation mark is always there.

I'm referring to the media server. From the Flash Apps page, there will be a button in the top-right corner that will allow you to edit some universal settings. Make sure that the media server is enabled and properly configured.

It says, 'cant connect to rms'.

Always something.

Follow the installation guide for the media server, located here: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/RayMediaServerInstallation

You also need a decent server to run an RMS.  A shared host won't do, you need at least a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or Dedicated Server.  There are some 3rd party resellers too (I have one that I pay about $6/month for an RMS) but you have to be careful as some are more trustworthy than others.

yes, to save some money and see if I could do it, I setup my own RMS running at home on an Ubuntu server for now.

It is running on a 3ghz 2GB Ram single core Dell and seems to be running fine so far. Have had running for a month now with no problems, I have a very high speed upspeed connection though...

I'm not sure how much of a load it can take, we will see. I still have the RMS server I have at Arvixe..but for now I'm using my home one to test only. The Ubuntu server 9.10 and RMS work well together as far as I have seen...where are the testers?

I have dedicated servers.

It was an issue and is now fixed.

Thanks.
