Why did they made it so hard??

...to change the welcome message on the first page??

I mean, it is so easy to change the picture under this text, you just upload a new one clicking ot the "browse" tab and that's it, why a similar sistem couldn't be implemented for the text area, or at least something to disable it, instead we have to mess about with the whole site code....

If you mean the welcome message that says "Welcome to the Community!", then you change this in your admin panel:

Go to Settings->Language Settings and search for "_Welcome_to_the_community"

Then edit that language key to say anything you like.

Hope this helps...

Hi Martinboi, thanks for the answer, but that's not how it is working here, maybe we got different version of Dolphin, i am using the latest one, and if i click on "edit", the only thing i can edit are 1) name of the language 2) the 2 letters which identify the language (en)   and 3) the flag.

So this "edit" button is not very usefull after all...

If however i export the default language php file, i edit that, than i cancel the original language file and i upload the new one, here is what happen: http://www.boonex.com/forums/#topic/Pictures-disappearing-from-the-Store.htm

and that's the reason for this thread
