Why is my default language English?

I choose default language to be Danish, and this works when my test users is loggede in. But when going to my site, without logging in, is all in English?

In the language setting i set it to:

 Dansk (default) Edit  Export

What am i doing wrong?

you may have used English before you set to your native language.  

Try to clear your web browser cache and dolphin cache then visit your site again to see if it picks up the changes.

No, I tried this before i wrote the post, it's not the problem.

ok what if you add:

/?lang=dk

to the end of your url in the browser   guessing dk is the right two letter combo.

example:

to switch back to english just change it to =en

Ohhh that was like a big mistake of me, i didn't notice I link to one of my sites in this public forum :-( 
How can I edit my post and remove the link? I don't want my future members to see this!

A moderator needs to remove our links.  the edit time went by for both of use.

There is a lot of stuff i want to edit, using firebug, it tells me i need to find this file, to edit the things i want to edit:

/gzip_loader.php?file=bx_templ_css_a435b312f50c51ade6c6f683beb98343.css

But when i open the /gzip_loader.php - there is nothing there, anyone know where i need to look?

That's a cache file. You don't edit that.

To see the actual css file in firebug you need to turn off css caching in dolphin. Then firebug will show you the actual css file and not the cache.

If new users that have never been to your site before, it will use the default language. However dolphin will detect the language a visitors web browser is set to use, and will switch to that language if available. So a lot of it depends on your visitors web browser language settings.

I fixed the cache part, is it always like this when it's related to /gzip_loader.php in firebug? OR, let me put it another way, how can I determine if I should turn the cache off or on to edit / find the file?

Regarding the languages question, is there a way I can "bypass" this, and put it so my site, no matter what- shows ONLY the Danish version?(i only have danish visitors)

You should not need to bypass. I would have to look into it. I remember doing it once before a long time ago. It's in the forums somewhere, but you should not need to. I noticed your using the wrong language code for your language.

For the site to switch languages automatically based on browser settings you must be using the proper ISO language code for your language.

Oh, and forcing is a bad idea. Despite the fact that you believe you have only danish visitors, you are here asking for help, and once in a while we may need to see your site. If you force only English speaking people to a danish only site, it makes things hard for us. I can't read danish.

After changing the language code you must recompile the main system languages and all module languages. If you created any module language files using dk as a prefix, those must be renamed to da.

Country codes and language codes quite often differ. And they do in this case. Example. Country code is dk but language code is da

For US English. the country code is us and the language code is en.

Gets confusing sometimes.

Things should start working properly once you have everything renamed and re-compiled.

I find it incredible how intricately Dolphin, is made and works, I mean, why havent BoonEx simplifyed and improved things more, over time.... But okay, who am i to comment on that, I don't know anything about programming hihi.
