Will D7 sort the RMS/Ray issues?

Hi, I am on D6 and can not get Ray to work. I would like my site to have chat/video etc.

Is Ray be included in D7 and if so will it work??

Your server has to update the RMS for it too work.  If your server updates the RMS than Yes.

I haven't installed RMS on the server as it's a little techy for me. I have been trying to solve the Ray modules installed and get them working, but can't.

I was hoping to install the Beta and Ray modules would automatically be sorted??

I also use a web server and not a dedicated server to run Dolphin so I can not run commands to install RMS.

Your server should have it already installed for you.  Who is your host?

Does Ray/RMS work in D7? It didnt work in 6

If your hosting company does not offer RMS, then you will need to purchase a separate RMS package from somewhere else. You can check the Ads section here at Unity to see all types of web hosting companies to find one that offers Stand-Alone RMS packages.

Your webcam options will not work without RMS.

Can I use the Google maps plugin with having an RMS??

I don't think RMS has anything to do with uploading videos, but I do know your webcam in chat, IM, or record will not work.

That's really strange because I can't upload videos at the moment and I thought it was the RMS not working.

Im not really bothered about chat anyway. Any ideas ?
