World Map Problem

Hi All,

I am testing a site where I have 2 members in Brampton Ontario Canada and I have the profiles with city country and Postal code.

In the World map I have set it to geocode by zip ie postal code. In looking at the Database the Latitude  and longitude are correct.

I have checked this with the GPSvisualizer and the numbers are identical.

However on my Map on the home page the flag and profiles show up in Saskatchewan which is some 1300 miles away.

Any insight into why this might be ?

you will need to reinstall profiles map module to geocode locations from the scratch.

Thanks for the reply.

I applied the changes to BxMapmodule.php and reinstalled the profiles map but still have the same problem.

I have 2 test sites running, one on a windows pc at home and one on a Linux host in the US.

Both have the problem but I ran the test on the home windows pc.

I went to boonex.us site and looked at the Profiles map on the home page.

I did not set up an account but I clicked on Canada in the Profiles map and noticed the same thing I am getting.

All the users from Canada are appearing in SK ie Saskatchewan.

I don't think all 228 users from Canada ie country CA are all from Saskatchewan

Canada flag only is placed on Saskatchewan. This is just a center of the country. If you zoom in then you will see that members are all over the country - cities icons will appear. Then if you zoom in further more  then you will see particular members' locations.

Ah OK Yes I finally see it

I kept clicking on the flag until it disappeared, but then you have to scroll to Toronto to see the buildings icon

Alex, I've put the fix you suggested to my site too, but I still can't get macedonian flag on the map! :(
