World Map Programming

I know there has been time and again discussions about the World Map this is a very powerful feature for several and obvious reasons.  Everyone here has always come up with a work around with almost every feature about this beast.  One of the most disappointing feature which is one of the most exciting feature as well is the ability to MARK a spot on the map for EVENTS, ADS, Yada,   The programming for whatever reason changes the mapping location for WHATEVER it is if the entity is changed by the Admin not sure if it happens for all others like adding to the event.

The point being you setup let's say an event you have people working the event and at the last second the event is changed SO IS the location to the point that it will take people to the wrong geocode or location on the map and in person.  I assume that the programming is relying on the Zip Code to place the event BUT that ain't cutting it.  It would not be that big of an issue IF IT DIDN'T overwrite PERFECT GEOCODES placed in the database.  THIS is a major waste of time and again is not that big of deal if you have one event you can work around it. A waste time everytime you do it and have to place the EVENT in the right spot or replace the profile in the right spot yada, yada.  As I get closer to my launch this is an issue that has to be addressed and CORRECTED.  Has anyone done in depth research on this and/or can point me to the exact coding that changes the GEOCODING so I can turn it off.  Yes it is nice it gets a person close at 1st entry and yes it is nice it groups all things on a world scale but the changing of VITAL CORRECT information is nothing short of a DISASTER in the making and ruins the credibility of the afore mentioned.  It's kind of like saying here let's help you find it BUTT when you do we are going to randomly move the event.  No thanks I'll find it myself.  Let me take on the liability of the matter.

An  event is planned and the correct geocodes are in place a last minute update changes the geocodes done by a person who doesn't know or forgets this happens.  The repositioned GEOCODES sends a person to a very dangerous part of town............Not so good......Yes it is an outside shot but it could happen and this aspect of the world map needs to be resolved and or turned off somehow.  I would much rather depend on the end user properly placing the entity in the proper place than a zipcode reference that could end up in a very bad part of town.........

Please anyone who knows the breakdown or line of code to turn this part off PLZ share it so it can be adjusted.  It is a constant battle to keep the right place on the map.....
