Zip Code Database?

Does anyone know where I can get a Zip Code database so I can get the distance from Zip Code search to work?

Or is there a different way to get the distance from zip code feature to work?

what will you pay us as we are students and we are building a collage website . .  we need sponsors...we have the database with all the places and zip codes ...and also lattitude and longitude also in it .

In case anyone is still looking, here is a ZIPCODE or Zip Code (depending on who you ask) database export that you can import to your database using phpMyAdmin.  It came from an open-source project that included the data, and only includes ZipCode, City, County, State, Longitude, Lattitude, but really you only need ZipCode, Longitude, Lattitude to do distance searches anyway.

I knew enough to convert and import the data into my site, and then export it in the format provided by phpMyAdmin, and the file is provided AS-IS, no warranty.

Now that I have done this much, hopefully some other kind soul can post instructions on what to do with it for those that are unfamiliar with phpMyAdmin.
