Zip codes - Where and How?

My members are screaming out for a zipcode/postcode search facility. Are they  available yet for D7 or can I use the old zip thingy-ma-jiggy (that's the technical term in case you were wondering) for D6?

Please ignore this post as found a  much better solution in Google maps without having to use the zip code/post code.
