adding idems to edit profile

Hi all, i would like to add some items to the edit profile page like hair color and so on but when i make it it does not sho up any help am using 7.0.3

On page blocks in the builder section, go to profile page (if you want on profile info tab click profile info page) and add the misc block. They are contained in there.

Income:
Occupation:
Religion:
Education:
Relationship Status:

In your fields builder add the profile questions you want to the "misc info" column.

Then on page builder goto profile page and add the "misc" block to the page. Here is an example http://www.profileville.net/bambie you can see the it on the left hand side 5th block down.

ok  i must be doing something wrong i went to field builder and  i have hair color in the misc but when i go to the site to edit my profile the hair color is not there, so i went to the page builder and went to edit profile page and made

Personal Details block but cant put the hair color ? there

Don't forget, any changes you MUST clean your cache out with ftp or through your cpanel. The clean cache button does NOT work in the admin section of Dolphin.

I logged in to your admin panel and this is what you done wrong.

1) You did not add misc block to the profile page on Pages Blocks

2) You did not add the caption to the SexiestFantasy field

So I have added the misc block to the profile page for you, so now you can add the profile fields you want your self and it will appear on the profile. Make sure you put the caption in or you will get an incorrect field name when looking at profile.

It had nothing to do with that. And the clean cache works for me in admin panel or he can use http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Deanos_Tools_V1_6_Dolphin_7_0_Version great mod to clear cache from the site.

iam so lost all i want to do is make

Personal Details with 10+ ? for the member to edit and the users to see.

not under misc but under personal details i have the hair color ? under misc but still cant edit it.

if this makes any sentes

Your not adding it to members section on the view profile section. See diagram below.

When you add the fields to the edit profile tab, you can find the new fields on view profile tabs at the bottom of the page in inactive items section, remember to add it to admin/member/visitor section on the view profile tab.

Remember caption on profile fields need to filled in too

You can use the ones that you made already that I have edited to correct to look at to make new fields. Also you can remove the ones you don't want and reorder them to the way you want.

The is the caption part you need to fill. Fill that with Eye Color.

So the error is gone?

Don't forget you need to do it on the on the Eye Color field on the view profile tab and the edit profile tab.
