I really feel this is being overlooked by Boonex.
Members dont change their profile settings as its not that clear how to do so. Anything that is optional, will most likely not get changed by the majority.
I know kids just lie about their age anyway on social networks, thats not the point. Its more that we need to show that as social network 'webmasters' we are taking our own responsibilities seriously.
There should be a built in admin control where you can select at what age profiles are public.

1.1. You certify that you are 13 years of age or over. All those individuals under 13 years of age will need a full release form from their parents before posting any content. This is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 2000 (COPPA).
Where we are encouraged to build community network sites, we need to recognize that all ages will use them. I have a site that has a kids section, along with wider community sections. all 'family safe' content.
I dont want the site to be seen as unsafe for younger members to use.
