how do you guys edit the lang-en.php file without getting syntax errors?

 '_some_key_here' => 'Edit This Text Only',

The language file has a bunch of key/value pairs. Edit as shown above (the bold text).

The correct way is to add/edit the keys from inside the Dolphin admin and then re-compile the language. This way it's saved in the file and in the database.

The issue started when i exported it to change "Spy" to "Notifications" Then re-uploaded it after that it was all down hill from there.

That file is not meant to be edited by hand.

You should use the languages section in admin and seach fro what you want to change and change it there.

To resolve the problem, make sure the file you tampered with is writable. Mode 777 for permissions.

Then go into the languages section and recompile the languages.

How do you go about adding things to the VERY top floating menu? The one that says join and log out?

nothing? because the template i have won't let me change any of those links in the top bar. Any help would be appreciated!
