backup only user content/data

I have a corrupted database after improperly installing a mod

How can I backup only the user information.. everything related to the members. Comments, forums, blogs, photos, shared photos - you name it - I want all their content backed up (as it relates to the DB)

What I plan to do is export user info / content from corrupted db into a new fresh installation of dolphin - then backup all data on the fresh install and restore it to the bad db and hope all goes well.

So what tables relate to user data? or how would you go about fixing this?

if you're curious (or if it would help fix) here is what I did..

I installed Advanced Notifier incorrectly - when I was finished the mod didn't work right. I undid all that I did and recompiled lan - then reinstalled mod again. The mod gets errors when  updating the database because those tables/etc already exist - now the mod doesn't function properly and won't let me re-install

so in trying to fix thi

In a subfolder I install a fresh copy of dolphin and the Advanced Notifier mod and all works great! just no user data

So If I can get the users and all their data from the bad install into the new install .. then I could backup the good db and use that to restore the bad DB.

I've dumped massive hours into this and really need help. If you have time I'd greatly appreciate your time and efforts!

I did similar..installed new version, uploaded mods, moved members....

In your case, you need you need to download profile table, profileseetings, profilematch anything profile....

thats for members....

for images, music and video files, yo uneed to download "media" table.

In my case, Im loosing members on daily basis...not b/c they unregister(it`s unpublished yet) but everyday number off total members is less and less... withouth any actuvity on site. Original profile table contains 675 members and fer days later...it shows 499????

I think, if you just reedit affected files for notification mod....you will be ok.  running modcompile.php and a few others..is not nessesery...thy insert needed info and you have that set already...thats why you have those duplicate errors.

so just reediting files would take care of your problem in original site...

Let me know if this helps.

backed up and moved all profile and media and forum and blog and cmt tables etc to the new site - then backup up the new site and restored that backup to the old site - now all is well!

also had to move lang.php from new site to old site to correct a couple other issues.. Im good now.

Take care! =)  sooooooo happy
