Right, Ive been dabbling with Dolphin for a few weeks now, good/bad timing as I just installed the D7 then within a week the update came out which gave me a few prob! All seems to be (almost) ironed out now and am finaly getting close to launching my first Dolphin site!
Theres a few modules though that are standard to Dolphin that I cant figure out what they actualy do and if they will benefit my site...
Also, not found any description on Boonex site that tells me what they do or how to use them. This would be a good thing to put on the site as not all of us are 'coders'. I can get my way round a script if someone tells me what to do, but my reason for choosing D7 was for its 'drag and drop' ease of use.
So, heres what I still havent figured out in the Dolphin modules!
FaceBook connect - does this link the registration details from the Dolphin site to those of facebook?
Custom RSS - have installed, cant find any settings or how to use it! If I click it in tools, it just says 'empty'???
Desktop.
Open Social. Mine shows a clock. Whats this for and what could be done with it?
Profile customizer - is this just an in-depth detailed profile section?
simple messenger + messenger... whats the difference? Why are they different to the site mail ?
wall. is this just for view on the users home page to show theirs and their friends activites ala FB?
The run down on these mods would be great! Sorry for being so 'basic' but it would be helpfull to have some sort of outline of what they all do and why I should use them...!
