best way to monetize site

So I am kicking around what modules I need to buy to make some money.

I like how MYB and FUBAR work.

Like pokes or gifts.  If you are a VIP member you have access to VIP gifts, pokes, or flirts.

Or, you can buy credits to access those PREMIUM items as well.

Without spending a BUNCH of money on modules that really aren't worth it, WHO has any kind of module that handle  memberships and credits this way?

I see several mods out there by various authors (not going to call any names to sway any answers here), just a little confused about the best bang for my buck!

I have been developing my site for several months now, but there are people here that have been around for YEARS and I am looking for their wisdom!

Affiliate marketing based on the niche you're targeting, THAT'S where you'll make your money, not on mods. Join some affiliate networks, and promote products related to the niche you're targeting.

There are a lot of good modules you member will like and make them return. Its not just that you go and get a module. Its how you keep your site outstanding and attractive for members to come back. Customer support, site maintenance, keep em busy on your site, marketing, investment!

It seems that you have a adult site and I'm sure a lot of good adults sites are out there much more so shitty adult sites. What makes there people coming back? hehe lots of active members :-)

How do I get them? with money its easy :-) without money its manual and hard work from sratch. At the end it all comes down to your own commitment :-)

Browse around the market, read the reviews, test the demo site, feel it, like it and look further :-) Then chose what you like and design your site the way you want it :-)

Gift, point, verified members, referal they are all there with different fillings :-) Taste it and decide :-)

It's not an adult site per se, it's more like a mature version of my yearbook. It seems people tend to complain about too much cleavage (WTF?) over there, so one of the rules is there is never too much cleavage.  lol

I am NOT going to alone any kind of sexual pics posted, however topless will be fine.

The hardest part I am going to run into is integrating games. I spend a TON time playing with the development site and trying this that and the other and really don't have time to play with any of the games available.

Looks like I am going to need a games programmer for that.

I have picked and chosen a variety of members to log test different features and layouts as I create them, so I am hoping to get the best balance of useability from thier feedback.

I hope to go live by fall, when everyone starts staying indoors and gets bored!  lol

I am just limited right now on funds, however, I think I will have a viable demo site within the next few weeks and will have to find an investor.  lol
