blank page

i tried new kind of hosting. installed dol 7.1.6

and then upload full backup of the original site to the new one

everything went ok until i changed the

the cache type into apc and saved it.

then everything went blank, white page, nothing

both website and administration

and i can't do nothing now

why is that?

which is better and safer way to clone my site?

coping the entire files and db (and changin the site url in header.inc.php)?

or fresh install + uploading backup (from dol admin).

White page is probably a php error; you most likely have error reporting turned off.  If you turn error reporting on you will be able to see the error message so it can be corrected.

if i am running a new install and i want only the users (profiles)

to be imported then i need to backup structure and content of profiles only?

will it be with their credentials ?

Did you fix the probably with APC?

If you only want the accounts, and not any profile photos or anything else....  It depends on exactly what you want to do.

there is a bug i think. when i chose to backup all and the cache is "file"

and i upload backup to the new site and his cache is not "file" and click save then i the site

goes blank.

Because there is an error, but I don't know what it is, no one here knows what it is.  We can not see the error.
