calibrate the page size

Hi i am working on my on Template and i need to know

how to calibrate the page size exactly?

not real clear what that means. if you can elaborate, then maybe somebody can have some clarification and you can get an answer. i would like to see it myself, as i dont have any idea what you would refer to as calibartion of a page size.

aw you mean when using the admin/page builder/homepage for example? when u use the mouse to drag and sized the page witdh...

yeah you cant get precise value, for example when you drag from 960 px wide to the next pix you get directly to 966 px wide, its hard to drag it to 965 px for example.

i think it has to do with /template/templ_uni/general.css ...
