cannot install my d7

pls help i cannot install my dolphin 7. im stock ....

can you explain where is problem? I see support at forum is rare, crowd of questions are unanswered. but I installed dolphin at my site, so maybe I can help you:) but I must tell you that I am beginner, I installed before 2 days dolphin 7, first time in my life. but you need installation, so I did it for myself.

where is problem for you?

can you download files and unpack it and upload to your sever in some folder which you created? that's first step. second step is to have database for it, if you don't have, you should create it. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DetailedInstall70

Lot more detail is required for people to help you. What problems are you having? What kind of server are you trying to install on? Im assuming your trying to install on a shared hosting package.

The basic place to start is to upload all the d7 package to your server. Go to your cpanel (the one that comes with your hosting package) Create a database and then add a user to it along with a password. Note these details down as they will be required on installation of d7. Then go to www.yourdomanname.com/install/index.php. follow the onscreen instructions to change any file permissions needed. Fill in your website details, email address along with database info and other info i cant recall at the moment.. Make sure when the installation is complete and your ready to log into your site you delete the install directory.

Log into your sites admin and away you go.

Any problems, post here and im sure along with myself others will help you out.

cannot apply localization usually means that the langs folder is not writable. Mode 777

D7 writes the language files inside the folder once you start the install.  If your getting this error as soon as you start to install you have an issue with perms.  If your getting this error after you give it your DB information, then it's a different problem.

What type of server do you have?  Linux or Windows?  If it's a Linux, does it have Apache Enabled with Mod_rewrite.  Also, what is the version of Apache on it?  I'm thinking this is an issue with the server trying to write the langs file and it's failing.  Also, does your server have suPHP on it?

how can i fix this problem.... pls help..

folder /inc/header.inc.php  delete that file

re-upload folder installation to root

run the installation again

i just follow prolanzki advice delete .inc n upload install folder and run it again
