cant register license...

Hi.

 

We recently upgraded our Boonex to the latest. However when we try to re-register our license, it says it is only a Trial version...

 

Any help?

I had a problem registering my license.

In your admin, go to TOOLS > HOST TOOLS.

see if: allow_url_fopen = Off

That's what caused my problem. Needs to be on.

The allow_url_fopen = Off is already in ON state... It is still not working. I reviewed that thread.. but I cant find the "variables" section to attempt to remove the license file as mentioned below.


This is one method to try..

Go back in to "variables" and remove the license code and save.

Now log out of your site.

Log back in from the back door,

Use this http://www.yourdomain.com/administration/

It should prompt for your code. Enter it there.

Do not use the front door. i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/

in your database - sys_options - search the name field for "license_code". Delete whatever is in the Value field. Clear your dolphin and browser caches. Logout of your site. Then login at yoursite.com/administration, and - like was said before - it should prompt you for the license.

There is a forum topic on adding the license directly to the database, you could try that.

Ok. You said you upgraded. From what version of dolphin?

First go here. http://www.boonex.com/market/licenses Your lisences should be listed there.

Is your license a permanent license(purple)
or a free license(green i think)

It is now green, however it used to be purple.. we purchased this license for $800 a few years ago

Free licenses do not register.

If it's not showing up as a permanent license and your sure you had one, then you will need to contact boonex. uno@boonex.com to reach Andrew.

Not sure how you paid $800 a few years ago. Licenses did not cost that much until Jan 2013. So any purchase made prior to that which has only been 14 months did not cost $800.

Before you contact Andrew you will need to hunt through your paypal records or whatever payment method you used for the purchase information.

You need to contact Boonex to fix this issue.  They made some changes and it could have affected your permanent license causing it to be removed from your account.  Did you purchase a Prime licence? Do have the receipt for the license?
