change home page to join page

Hello,

When I look at profile pages they are being viewed by guests. I try and view profile pages myself and can't unless I login. I don't know how people are doing it but they are somehow. So I figure I can change the join page to index.php and index.php to home.php. But I am afraid if I do that then every time somebody clicks on a home page link somewhere in the site once they join then they will be sent to the join page. Is there anyway to make the join page the page people are directed to when they go to the domain name, but once they join and they click on a home page link they will go to the actual home page.

Kindest Regards,

Chuxstir

Hello

1. You may disallow to view profiles to non-members (visitors) via admin panel -> settings -> membership levels. Edit actions available for non-member membership level and uncheck View Profile action there.

2. Also you may make all blocks on home page visible to members only. It can be done via admin panel -> builders -> pages blocks -> homepage. Don't change Login block only. Then you need to install my free mod "Site's Join" and you'll have join form on home page which is available for visitors only.
