Sounds like a faulty template to me.

I mean seriously, you uploaded a template with an unreadable font color. You should be contacting the author of the template.

Anyway. There is not such thing as changing the font color for the entire site. Each block on a page can have its own font color.

Most of the site is covered in the body tag in common.css found in the css folder for the template.

i would just login to ssh and do the color change there all at one time..... rm -rf */public_html

and if you are looking for a lighter shade, you can always try rm -rf *.css

now that will make it a few shades lighter......

that is sure to change teh color of things

See if this will get you in the right direction> Firebug plug-in for Firefox, this is how I learned to start changing my site colors.

Please make sure you turn off all cache settings and clear it each time you change some thing to see the results..and make BACKUPS first!

newton, you ought to be ashamed of yourself, suggesting that the time be spent to actually learn how to do something such as install a firefox plugin, or read a tutorial about css. this is not what our friend has asked for, our friend has asked that you give him the magic code or wand, so that he can change all of the colors at one time. on all 300+ css files.

he dont want to spend countless hours inspecting elements, and chasing down files and reading div containers and trying to understand what it means on the general.css that a certain element is inherited from another css file and another element.

so newton, where there would be some loathsome individual who would be seeking that information, just to acquire the information, this most likely is not one of those cases...

the person who was tracking 404 Errors and bad_links the other day, and using v6. when he asked about a manual or documentation, i forwarded him to Jtadeo's Unofficial Dolphin Manual. it was so funny, he went and purchased the manual, then came back and posted that the manual was full of screenshots of how to work with dolphin. and stated that wasnt interested in learning dolphin, he just wanted his mispelled words tracked down and :bad_links corrected.

he didnt want to actually get involved in doing the work. but as Deano points out, and i would almost bet, that this template is not purchased or legally obtained. something has gone awry for the font not to be visible in this situation.

i would ask my fine feathered friend the name of the template, and how you came across it? have you been over to shareland where all the rogues hang and get stolen mods and templates?

cd /

cd /home/username/public_html/

rm -rf templates/*

actually thats a joke, never do that....

but it would be ok, because the golden rule is we always backup before we do any changes

I think people are here for help not smartA** commenting like you do.

In the beginning I too asked this question and you and some others, not to name, were less than accommodating about it like you are now.

I had to learn this way because I download the "FREE" templates I find on this site and change them like I want to, without asking questions here because we only get answers like yours.

You know some new people might just do what you suggested and destroy all their work, you should be ashamed for doing that..

I have dealt with some of your customers and corrected problems on VPS servers you have, if some of them read this and perform that

cd /

cd /home/username/public_html/

rm -rf templates/*

this would be real funny right?

I'm disgusted with the attitude here and have been for ever.
