Hi can any 1 tell me please.

1. How to create new rooms in chat room

2. How to diable the add room in chat room so members/non members can't create rooms

to create a new room, go into chat, on the right hand side you'll see your list of rooms, there should also be a "create room" button there.

as for limiting new rooms i guess i kinda cheated when it came to this, i knew i wanted lets say 10 rooms. so i created my 10 rooms. then i went to admin panel - modules - flash apps - a/v chat - settings, and turned the max number of rooms to 10. this way users couldn't create any more rooms.

i'm new at this, but hopefully i answered your question.

This seems to allow users to still create new rooms that replace the existing rooms... ?  I'm in 6.1.6 but it's pretty much the same right?

I posted here because the topic was already open and the chat room is the same in 7 as it is in 6.1.6... right?
