 How do we edit the predefined list in Fields Builder when creating a custom NEW ITEM so that we can toggle between 2 languages? In particular, I am toggling between English and Chinese. I tried to find some clues from http://www.boonexnerd.net/dolphin/viewPage.php?ID=How%20to%20Create%20a%20Predefined%20List but it didn't seem to help. Clues anyone? |
Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> Language Management
If your doing both Eng/Chinese then you'll create 2 language files. When editing those files you'll see for instance you'll have 2 copies of the same String/Value with an indication to which Language File it represents.
Don't forget to compile. I.e if you change a New-Item in field builder but don't compile the labguage strings you'll get _underscor_values.
Also remember if you build it in the Join Form, you have to carry it through the other places such item would be needed, for instance SEARCH will/might need to be updated.
