default Facebook Connect

I want to make Facebook Connect default Login option at 'Auth Type'.

Any suggestions?

if you get any member from facebook you they never going to receive mass email about news on your site etc

I agree.

However, at this stage I see it fit to grow with FB, therefore it seems convenient for the new members to join direct from their facebook account or for that matter from any account they may have.

Beside most people are unaware of a drop down menu in that area and also unaware that there are other possible ways to join the community website beside of the tedious business of filling forms.
