default pic for profiles

Can someone guide me on how to create a default profile pic for those who don't load photos?

you will find these pictures here .. they are avatar pictures .

there is no standard way to ad the same to profile pic at the moment.

background-image: url /templates/base/images/icons/woman_medium.gif); width: 64px; height: 64px;

background-image: url /templates/base/images/icons/man_medium.gif); width: 64px; height: 64px;
