disabling registrations

Is there a way to disable registrations? I am integrating phpbb into the system therefore I can't have any users on our site.  I'm having trouble running it with wamp or Easyphp. I don't have much of a choice but to work on the live site other then customizing the theme/template.

Is there a way to disable the entire site from view, other then to admin, or disable new user registrations? I haven't been able to find it since I am new to Dolphin if it does exist. Please direct me to it if it is there.

You can enable registration by invitation only from Administration -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Other.

This will cause the join form to be disabled unless the person has a session from an invitation email sent from an existing member.
