Not sure I understand your question exactly, but if you are needing know what the permissions need to be for files and folders you can see them here under permissions: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DetailedInstall70 Chris Nothing to see here |
thanks zarcon i think my c mod permission are set wrong when i upload every thing upto site via ftp i get every thing installed and when i come to login to admin cp for first time it ask me for user names and password accept it and ask me for licence i add licence then it ask me to login again in admin cp it accept password then returns back to login screen again it like it stuck in a look not sure why also no user are able to login to dolpin 7 but can sign up im just woundering if there is a issue weathe permision are set right im under the under standing that folder should be set to 777 wich mine are not and 666 for files please correct me if im wrong and give me correct perms and thank you for ya time |
Some servers do not like the permissions outlined by BoonEx in the installation manual. Try setting all directories to 755 and all files to 644. The FFMPeg binary should remain at 777, or 755 if it proves to not work properly. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
thanks magnusoft that is what there set to at this moment is 755 and 644 for files but sould i try to set them to 777 for folder and 666 for files thanks for ya time and help really want to get this dolphin running and i also hav same issue wth dolphin 6 as well so i think it server side but i just think it the perms |
No, 755 and 644 should be sufficient as Magnussoft said, except for /flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe which should be 777. Are you saying that when a member joins, the join/login successfully, but if they logout and then try to log back in, it takes them to the login page again? Are there any errors displayed and have you tested this yourself with a test user? Chris Nothing to see here |
yea the problem is that when user join it just does not let them login it it loop it self back to login also i have tried test acount does not allow log in also i can not log in to admin my self for same reason it is driveing me nut if i can not get in to admin there aint much i can do |
