dolpin spikes cpu

Does anyone else find dolphin 7 causes a big cpu spike just when loading a page?

I don't have to much running on it but for about a second I get an 80% spike of cpu usage when loading a page.

I don't have no skins, just the default one, no mods to slow it down and a newly installed and i paid for the licence.

I'm so afraid to promote the site as server would come to a stand still if a few hundred joined :-(

My idea was to buy this to get it up as quick as possible to save time but i'm so wishing at the moment I had just coded the site by hand, yeah might of taken a month or so and would of been a simpler site but least end result would of been ok.

Anyone get the same?

Yep, sod it, going to write my own.

Will count what I paid for as a learning curve and not be lazy and try to do things to quick in the future.

honestly you must have a pretty weak server if  you have that kind of problem.

What is your server and what software?

I've got a quad core with 12 gigs of ram and the ONLY time I get a cpu spike is when someone uploads a video and it gets processed.  Most of the time during page loads, one or 2 of the cores bump to 25 or 30%.

Running Ubuntu server edition for the software.
