double menu items

Hi,

Today I changed from one domain to another. I exported my complete database, and imported this database on the new location.

All went well .. it really is fantastic, bcs with a simple 301 redirect, all the traffic goes to the new site ..

however, i do notice some odd things, and i am not sure where to look

Certain menu items are double. see attached picture for details.

Also certain blocks were double, for example .. when i go to article view, the article text block was displayed twice.  But that was a minor problem, simply by removing these double blocks from the page builder solved this problem.

but the double menu items ??

Anyone has an idea?

Did you import your database over the top of another existing database that did not have empty tables?

I suspect your database export did not include the drop table lines to remove existing content from the destination.

i imported the database right after freshly installed dolphin and all the nessecary modules.

I have selected to replace the tables, otherwise i get errors such as duplicate primary keys etc etc ..

Well the import not removing all existing content is the only explanation i can think of.

assumed that this happened, which i believe is true.

Where in the database could i find these double menu items?

is it sys_menu_member ?

i meant : sys_objects_actions .. and can i simply delete them?

sys_menu_member is the floating menu bar at the bottom. I can't tell from your screen shot what menu it is.

Top menu is sys_menu_top

Oh, your refering to the actions buttons? Yes, they can be deleted. Cache must be cleared after as with any database edit.
