error after editing new language

Hi

I just tried to edit a new language in settings and when I added new language- Spanish, I got following error:

Warning: require_once(/home/winter/public_html/community/langs/lang-es.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /inc/languages.inc.php on line 33

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/winter/public_html/community/langs/lang-es.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in inc/languages.inc.php on line 33

How to fix it?

You should made 'lang' directory to 777 and recompile your ES language (in admin)

I just created a Polish language. There is a message:

Warning: require_once(/home/oko/ftp/astra/langs/lang-pl.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/oko/ftp/astra/inc/languages.inc.php on line 33

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/oko/ftp/astra/langs/lang-pl.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/oko/ftp/astra/inc/languages.inc.php on line 33

My langs directory is 777 and it's not working. Can you help me?

I found what was wrong: I use 'PL' instead of 'pl' so rhe file name was was with the capital letters. I changed it into small and it's ok now.

Yes, use names by international standards :)

The problem for those two fails is that the files the server is searcheing for is named lang-"small letter" but the file are named lang-"Big letter", rename it to a smalle letter and then it works

Since upgrading to final version, I'm getting the same problem when performing a string search  (didn't exist in previous version installations on my site)

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/mysite/public_html/7/administration/lang_file.php on line 153 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mysite/public_html/7/administration/lang_file.php:153) in /home/mysite/public_html/7/inc/admin_design.inc.php on line 56

I've checked permissions, recompiled language and still the same result.

Same thing... But there is the catch, when you want to change something of language, enter the desired word that you want to change, check that box beside and warrning message dont show up, but you have to repeat this every time you want to change some string, not much, just around 5000 string... I guess i have the same problem.

I have upgraded to final version from RC3 via RC4 and RC5.

In RC3 i had no problems editing my Swedish language but now on the final version i cant get any hits what ever i search for.

After entering a search word, have you tried checking the apply box?

They aparently removed the ability to press enter to do a search. Pressing enter generates a error on my site, but clicking the apply checkbox works.

Checking the apply box worked.... Pressing enter just does nothing..

Where is the logics in that one?

There is no logic to it. Per my last post here.

But i am not a vulcan, so my logic is flawed. But i really think theirs is also.

But hey, i am just a lowly peon here. My opinion does not matter.
