error message?

Im getting problems with my site suddenly. Memory is spiking like hell and I cant even access the site.!!!

After a while, the memory clears, then the smallest site function kicks it into overkill again and am blocked out.

Host is looking into it but dont know what causes it.

This happened while updating an old 7.0.0 installation.

Followed all steps smoothly up to 7.0.4 and then it happened.

I also noticed the login function does nothing anymore. If I click, it, it just does nothing.

And - the 'settings' bar that normally sits on the bottom of the screen is gone.

This error is showing repeatedly in cpanel error log...

Permission denied: /flash/modules/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

With the log in function, it says 'run script void (0)' on bottom of screen if I move mouse over the login text.

logout works!?

Just do what that error says. Check the permissions on the .htaccess file in flash/modules must be readable.
