error message when trying to install simple messenger in admin panel

You have the member menu shut off. The simple messenger requires the member menu be on.

@boonex staff. The grammar of that error is about the worst english i have seen in quite a while. Please correct the wording.

ok.. got it! great.  now, the members menu is messed up.  it doesn't stretch along the bottom.  some coding must be off because it bunched up in the bottom right corner

Are you running a custom template?

Try the default UNI.

Some templates, especially those designed to look like facebook deliberately shorten the member menu and place it on the right side.

I will not be able to tell you if that is the case without a url so i can see the site.

What is the name of the other template. I only see the uni.

And you need to delete my previous account. I cannot connect to it with facebook connect. I remember signing up there but you must have uninstalled and reinstalld facebook connect or something.

deleted.  i deleted the menu.. so you wouldnt be able to switch templates.

Then i cannot check the other template.

I will switch it over..
