I get the error when I try to access the flash app settings in the modules area. I have been getting this error on a fresh install of 7.2 at one of boonex's suggested expert hosting sites using their installer. They won't offer any help beyond telling me it's dolphin and not the rms server causing the error. I also went and looked at a 7.1.6 install that was working fine and it too has the same problem now. I've tried flushing caches, increasing resources, etc., with no luck.
I am posting this again because no one from boonex has ever responded to the issue in the past and no one on the forums has ever come up with a working solution. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue, or even what causes it yet??

I've never encountered this error before. But have you tried replacing the /flash directory with a fresh download from here at BoonEx? Does it still happen if RMS is unchecked in the settings? Also make sure Flash Player is up to date - I've seen cases of weird errors when it's outdated. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
Thanks for the help :)
The first thing I checked was my flash player version, it wasn't the latest version but updating didn't fix the problem in either install. I get the same error in firefox, chrome and ie.
I can't get to the settings in the new install due to the error, so I can't add the server ip or see what's checked. So it's in it's default state, whatever that may be. The 7.1.6 install had the server ip added and use rms checked and was working properly that way previously, but now it gives the same error when I try to get to the flash app settings and I can't change the settings.
I did try deleting and reinstalling7.2 from the scriptaculous installer but it still gives the same error. I'll try downloading a fresh copy from here and replacing the flash directory as you suggest, I'll let you know how that works out when I'm done.

Deleted the flash directory and then uploaded a fresh flash directory from the 7.2 download here, I'm still getting the same error.
I did manage to convince tech support that it was worth looking into on their end. They've been looking on their end for about an hour now with no result yet. They're supposed to get back to me with whatever they may learn.
I'm still up for suggestions from here, I don't expect any miracles from them, given their track record on tech support for my account.

It's working for me now, it was a corrupted flash install on my end. I updated flash earlier today and nothing changed in ie, ff, or chrome. But I just got a flash error on youtube, so I uninstalled it, removed the app data and reinstalled it and now it's working correctly in all versions.
Sorry for making you chase your tail, I always keep flash updated so I didn't expect that to be the problem.
Thanks again for all your help :)
