fresh install problem

I made a backup of my database and copied the content into a new created database

Then i did a fresh install on a new subdomain with that new database.

But now I can't see the content of the database in the new site.

How can I get these content back?

After you performed the installation, you overwrote your older database. You're suppose to first install the script, then overwrite the database with your previous copy. Since you've already installed the script, just re-overwrite the database again.

Drop the current database, and upload the older on in it's place. Remember to configure the needed settings to correspond with the new database.

I suggest you use phpMyAdmin for all database management operations, including the importing and exporting of databases.

you would have to copy your old files to the new site

like photos

modules/boonex/photos  copy folder files  and re-upload to the new site    it might work :)

I uploaded the data to the site, but nothing shows up.

Do I have to reupload the backup of the database again?

Do I have to reupload the backup of the database again?

And that didn't work too.

Now I have my site back online, but all photo's are gone.

but they are on the server!

Whats wrong?

UPDATE: In adminpanel -> modules -> photos all pics are visible only not on the site itself......

Make sure you copy modules/boonex/avatar/data/images as well.

If you have any of the caching turned on, admin->settings->advanced settings->template then turn off all caching until you are done.
