front end messaging

we need a decent way on front end, not in admin, to enable site admins to filter and then bulk message members.

any mods I have are all admin end use which is not always ideal when building sites for others to administrate.

what if we had the following...

admin membership permission based  of course.

on browse.php or search.php page, filter members either by mem level, or other key filters (tags would be useful here)

then based on the results, message all button on same page.

This would be simple, effective and clean to use.

anyone want to have a crack at it?!

There is a module in the market that will allow you to assign admin(s) and restrict which areas of the backend that admin can access.

I know, that still doesnt do what Im talking about though...

front end filtering and messaging.

many other 'admin-esque' features such as adding content, editing and deleting, are all front end

we should be able to filter members on front end, and bulk message them as 'admins'.

the default dolphin admin area is hardly the place I want to invite 'admin' users of my sites to...

See the Mail Marketing module which has a front end interface for sending messages to a selected subset of members. You will just need to disable the payment requirement.

Looks interesting,

Modzzz, can this be adjusted so that along with being able to select send to membership level, it can be send to 'profile tags' so users can be grouped by tags?

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
