gif to png...I want better looking default custom icons.....

I found ...

            $sSexThumbIcon = getTemplateIcon($sThumbType . '_medium.gif');

in templates/base/scripts/BxBaseIndexPageView.php

I and changed the .gif to png  I uploaded png files to /templates/base/images/icons.

I then manually cleand the cache...The script is still calling the gif files....

I am using 7.0.6 so what else do I need to do to affect this change?

Then you need to check to see if that function you found getTemplateIcon in exists in the scripts folder of your custom template and if it does, edit it there instead. You also should be placing your replacement icons in that templates icon folder.

It nice to see that your someone as knowledgeable and helpful as yourself has enough time to provide such a specific and thoughtful response....I bet you were the star of all the games of keep-away on your playground.   Thanks again.
