google verification

i am trying to verify me website with google.am to paste a code  to my website hompage. can anybody be of help

Click on the link to ‘verify’ and choose the method you would like to use for verification. You can either choose to verify with a Meta Tag or by uploading an HTML file to your site.

Copy the code string e.g.: <meta name=”WHATEVER YOUR CODE IS” /> into your Meta Tag.

OR

For Dolphin sites this choice will be best.

1. Go to webmaster tools and get HTML code.
2. Open notepad and put it in there and also name it the same, save as html.
3. Then go to your web account and upload the file to your site.
4. Go back to Google where you got your code and click verify
