help me learn this. add a site to my site.

If I wanted to add a site like facebook to my site for member to check there page from my site what do I need to do?

Can you show me the code and what I would need to change.

Only way to do that is with a iframe in a html box.

However it is kinda pointless. Sites like facebook do not like their site embeded in a iframe on someone else site so facebook adds code to their site to force the browser out of any iframe. So it's not possible to do with facebook.

I have the facebook and twitter mod but I want to do other sites like that. And even let there be apps that member can add to there list of apps they use.

Then i misunderstood your request. I was under the impression you wanted to include the entire site. I got that impression by how your message was worded.

The facebook and twitter modules provide access to certain functions of the site via the programmers API's. Only sites that have API's can this be done for.

Facebook provides site developers access to certain functions of facebook through it's API here. http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/

And twitter through it's API here. https://dev.twitter.com/docs

If the site you want to include does not have a API, then your cannot do it.

You will have to write your own module if you want access to other sites that provide API's to their functions. That falls within the module writeing catagory, and to extend it further you would also need to learn the sites API's.

If you purchaced the module to get access to twitter and facebook, then just look at the thousands of lines of code of that module to learn how to do it.

Sorry. Your requesting a sample of something that is way to complex. No such thing as a easy example. The module you downloaded for Facebook/Twitter is a example. And the default boonex facebook connect module is also an example. modules/boonex/facebook_connect

Sorry, but you need to hire someone to do this. The complexity level is at expert levels.
