help please. everything is crashing

somewhere along the line. all my langauges disappeared on my dolphin 7.1.6 website.

I tried to import lang_en from a 7.16 original and it will not let me. is there a ways around this problem?

reason, i have to recompile everything module in english. it is locking people out of groups.

pleas help. i hope repairing lang_en and recompiling fixed the lock outs. thanks in advance. max.

The language file is not going to lock people out of groups, that is the membership actions that control the access denied. 

I would backup the database making sure you don't overwrite any previous backups; and then back up the site files completely making sure to not overwrite any previous backups.

Then you need to figure out what is happening.  Could you be hacked?
