If you don't want to use your administrator account for interactions, you can suspend it and use it for only back-end operations. Personally, I create two accounts: admin and [account name]. I suspend the administrator account and use it for administrative tasks, while my standard account is used for day-to-day interactions.

thanks for your reply.

That is indeed a good solution.
but will my profile stay in search results?

When a profile is suspended, it's hidden. It shouldn't display in search results to my knowledge.

With suspending you mean:

Dashboard - Unregister - Delete Account??

Thanks,

Thanks,

No: That deletes the account (as suggested by the text). To suspend an account, navigate to administration, members, where you can check the account in question and hit "deactivate."

When you disable/suspend an account, that account can't log in. If i suspend my admin account, I am basically locked out?

You should be able to login from the administration panel.
