how to edit _sub_header.html

dear all,
previously when i installed dolphin i had edited the file _sub_header.html  (/public_html/administration/templates/base) and added google adsense

how today when i tried to add additional information in this file i could not see it appear after i uploaded by ftp the edited file  _sub_header.html

I don't know the answer to your question but just a note because I have never had too much difficulty putting google adsense, where I want them to be at least on my site. I think the easiest way to put google adsense is to use the Banner or go to phpmyAdmin and place them where you want them to be.
