Remove all site-side access points to the join page (such as buttons, login forms, etc...).

I have a better idea: navigate to administration, settings, advanced settings, other, and enable invitation-only registration.

You'd have to send the person in question an invitation to join.

And I am telling you that in Dolphin 6, clicking the link to create a new account through the administration panel brought you to the join page.

So... DA DA DA DA!!! Nothing's changed, except that the join form's visibility settings are now changed to not display for logged in members.

Oh Jesus, here we go again. On a path to NOWHERE!

Why can't we just tell him to log out as admin (like I do), join as the new member (like I do) then log back in as admin and activate them?

In the future, when someone asks if they can add a member from the admin page, the answer is (and I want to make sure you hear this)

NO!

LOL .... Tongue out

Hey, that's what I meant (though the answer was longer and more informative than it had to be).
