join events problem

I have a problem on my d7 i for some reason ppl arent able to become participants in an event. there is no join event option, just subscribe or share. if the click subscribe they are not a participant. does anyone have an answer for this????

Could this be related to caching being turned off?

try to edit the date in advance to show up the join button.

I have the date set to today now, and the button still has not shown up. thanks for the idea though.  :)

set the start and end date 1 day or a month advance.

The join button is just missing. I created an event a week upfront and nothing shows up.

When I open the event homepage, the event is not showing up either. Just when you click on upcoming events, it's showing.
