joined using arvixe host

Hi, I joined dolphin today using the arvixe host cpanel software auto installer any suggestions from anyone who is or has done or doing the same to make life alittle easier?

Arvixe is my hosting provider. You haven't stated a problem. The one-click install works. How much easier are you looking to get? I feel you have to be specific or it's too early/late and I'm not getting it. Go for it. Make a list of questions and see what gets answered but before you do, use the "search" feature to see if a question has been asked and answered. At the install stage, they usually have. Did you have a successful install?

yes install was succesful and simple. I was just wondering if anyone had any general advice before I started tweeking the program to my niche.

Read the tutorials carefully, making sure they apply to your version of Dolphin, especially at boonexnerd.com.

Before making changes BACKUP the file first.

Also, use the search feature here. This forum and Answers are usable resources, as well.

Good luck to you. I have crashed one site several times, now I'm unable to gain access via admin panel. And I'm still having fun. I moved to another site and I'm learning every step of the way. I know Joomla very well but was totally green starting with Dolphin.

Don't get frustrated, especially when you've a backup of the file you're editing. So, backup first!

People here in the forum are nice for the most part. Always a few rotten apples (toss them) but you'll get help if you try to help yourself first by using "search". I know those two sites above will prove beneficial, too.
