language key & header colour change

Hi,

I tried to add information in 'about us' page through admin language key but getting error.

I can't delete information in _about_us_H1.What ever information added there showing in the footer link and H1 header  even after deleted, I deleted all cache and then still no changes. why is that?

Could somebody help me to solve this issue.

Also could you please help me to add green colour in the top header of all pages?

For your language problem, download the $ 10  Deanos About Us  editor in the market.  With this you can write the in a normal editor.

For CSS color problems, its is easier to find to right code if you use FireFox with Firebug plugin.

My about us page editor is not going to fix whats broken.

There is no _about_us_H1. At least there is not supose to be. Also you don't want to delete.

Type _ABOUT_US_H in the look for box and click the search check box

Click edit next to the returned result.

String text for English language should read  About Us

Change it and Click save.

If you get an error then report that error here. Unfortunately just saying but getting error as you did in your first post will not help us determine the problem.

Yes, my page editor mod can help you edit the about us page, but you need to fix the other problem first.

Yes i did the the same  way as About us in the string text box.But still showing all old bits in the bottom link  and the box header.

I think you have changed  the _footer.html also. I can't  find on your site the about us link. ?

No i haven't changed any other files.

About us link is there at the bottom,

I cleared my caches and now the link is showing as _about us and all other details have disappered. In _ABOUT_US_H1 there is no _

How can we remove these _

Also do you know how to edit in firebug to change the colour of the  top header?

I guess you did not read my post.

Your looking for _ABOUT_US_H not _ABOUT_US_H1



The _ means you don't have the english text set for the the key.

Your obviously not editing these language keys correctly. I'll see about making some step by step pictures.

I tried both H and H1 but still no luck.

I do not know how can get rid of _  in   '_about us'

Admin/Settings/Languages Settings

Below the box Manage Keys search after _About Us

You will now have only one search result,
_About Us (System) Edit

Click on edit and be sure you have only About Us as a text string, should be like this

Key name: _About Us
String text for English language:  About Us
