Hi when my new members make an account, immediately after instead of being redirected to my site they are redirected to a 'page not found' page. which is a no good because people think their joining has been unsuccessful. originally i put on that free mod that allows you to redirect to any page after login and that works ok. the page not found says join.php in the address bar. The join is in actual fact successful its just my members don't know this because the redirect after joining is wrong
can anyone help.
ty in advance
oh http://shoomboom.com if anyone wants to try joining to see what i mean.

attach your join.php here. so much to do.... |
how do i do that? and where is the login.php? did that sound very blonde? |
the problem is after the new member has made an account, the page is directed to a 'not there page' and i can't get to to redirect to the home page or account. |
You might need someone to poke around in the works for you to figure it out. To see the page it is trying to send someone to, look in the address bar of the browser where URLs are displayed and you type them in. Geeks, making the world a better place |
it just says join.php which is the original join page. I need someone clever make an account on my site so see what i mean. |
can someone help. ok i know i bumped |
Joined as TestUser. It completed the join, created the account and then it attempted to send me to the account page. I got the submenu part with Account and then the page not found. I was not logged in after the join completed. I did get the confirmation email.
By the way, the black input box on the captcha thing needs the font to be white so you can see what you are typing.

If you look at my response, it is redirecting to the account page; or attempting to, but I am not logged in. I don't have a lot of free time today. Geeks, making the world a better place |
