mac computer - several problems

Hi

Members who use mac pc - have several problems on our site   - D7.0.6 -

- No access to photos

- Unable to accept or invite friends

- Can not put avatar

- send or receive mail

- no possibility of moderating the forum

- Unable to customize profile

- no possibility of putting a signature on the forum

why there is this problem ?

I use a Mac BookPro and IMac and have no problems using any of the features mainly because I am using Chrome.

May be worth checking what browser your mac users are using and getting them to try chrome instead of Safari.

To be honest, I never really tried the site with Safari other than looking at the home page and logging in.

When I get 5 mins I will check to see how safari works for me on the areas your having problems and then repost the results.

Ok, I've had a look and tested safari on my site and Safari works with fine and I have no issues.

PM me your site address and I will see if I have the same issues as your users.

I use a mac, both imac and macbook pro. Have tested on all my sites using safari, firefox and chrome and never had any problems.

I will ask a member who uses a Mac to come to test

I've had a look at your site (very nice design by the way) and it looks like Safari does not like the template you are currently using.

I tried uploading photos etc and even though the photos uploaded, Safari looked as if it was still trying to upload it (even though it did upload)

I test the same things using Chrome and everything worked okay with no problems.

I would suggest you ask you Mac users to use Chrome.
